General:

We are currently seeking management for a 26 cabin resort on Lake Skaha. Cabins are privately owned and occupied, and are also rented occasionally during the April to October season.

An on-site residence is provided to management, which traditionally has been a husband and wife team that shares the management duties. The property is about 7 acres in size, and responsibilities include grounds maintenance, security, rentals and cabin cleaning, together with hiring, training and supervising seasonal staff to assist in these duties.

The work hours are long in the pre-peak and peak season, particularly April through August, but light in the November to February period.

A strong hands-on skill level and a healthy lifestyle are necessities. Preference will be given to experienced resort managers with excellent references, strong communication skills, and reasonable computer and accounting literacy.
