Club Penguin is an innovative virtual world website for kids ages 6 - 14 which was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in August 2007.

We are looking to expand the growing team of skilled, conscientious employees who are needed for a fast growing online game for kids. We are a community oriented company with a fun and dynamic workplace located in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

Description of the Position:

The Language Support Representatives (LSRs) provide non-English support to our players and their families both through e-mail and through phone support. They respond to questions or concerns about billing issues, game questions and general support.

Responsibilities:

• 
  General and billing related phone support.
• Email support to both players and their parents including assisting concerned parents who want to know more about Club Penguin.
• Online community.
• Attend SOAL Focus meetings.
• Name approval.
• Moderation reports.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  High school diploma.
• Customer service experience a plus.
• Experience in writing a must.
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum typing speed: 60WPM.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
  

Skills and Abilities:

• 
  Care for the safety of children.
• Able to communicate clearly through written word.
• Enthusiastic about excellent customer service.
• Solid understanding of both local and global pop culture.
• Clear phone voice.
• Able to think and respond quickly while providing phone support.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
