Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, Accounting software, Simply Accounting, Quick Books, Caseware/Caseview

Financial Auditor Specific Skills: Examine financial records and transactions, Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control, Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices

Accountant Specific Skills: Plan, set up and administer accounting systems, Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies, Examine accounting records, Prepare financial statements and reports, Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure, Prepare income tax returns from accounting records, Analyze financial documents and reports, Provide financial, business and tax advice
